Waskom’s T.K. Hamilton Offered By Louisiana-Monroe
The eighth Division I scholarship offer arrived Tuesday for Waskom 2019 RB/ATH T.K. Hamilton.
The Wildcats' playmaker announced via Twitter that Louisiana-Monroe has offered.
Hamilton (5-11, 161) also holds offers from Texas State and UTSA (FBS), and Alcorn State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, McNeese State, Northwestern State, and Stephen F. Austin (FCS).
The Waskom standout recently took home running back MVP honors at the sixth annual ETSN/APEC Football Recruiting Combine. Hamilton ran a laser-timed 4.47-second 40-yard dash, had a vertical jump of 36 inches, and a broad jump of 113 inches at the event.
Last season, Hamilton was at the forefront of Waskom's heavy ground attack. In 13 games, he finished with 1,815 yards and 26 touchdowns. That was good enough to rank him among the top 10 backs in East Texas. Hamilton also spent time playing defensive back for the Wildcats.
ULM competes in the Sun Belt Conference. The Warhawks are coached by Matt Viator and went 4-8 overall (4-4 in conference) last season.
Hamilton, like all incoming seniors, is first eligible to sign with any team that offers him beginning in December.
