Week 2 1A Poll: Joaquin, Tenaha, Alto 1-2-3 in First Class A Poll

In ETSN.fm's first Class A poll of 2012, Joaquin holds down the No. 1 spot.

Joaquin (2-0) beat Shelbyville 38-14 to stay unbeaten and take first-place honors in our first 1A poll. Tenaha (1-1) rebounded from a season-opening loss to Joaquin with an 18-6 win against Garrison and is No. 2 in the inaugural 1A poll.

Alto is No. 3 following a 40-20 loss to Groveton, while No. 4 San Augustine (0-1) was idle after its season-opening loss to Tyler Grace Community. Harleton (1-1) is No. 5 following a tough 17-15 loss to New Diana.

Sixth-ranked Carlisle (1-0) was idle after its season-opening rout of Union Hill, and No. 7 Big Sandy (2-0) edged Winona 33-32 to stay unbeaten. No.8 Mount Enterprise also moved to 2-0 with its 34-24 win against No. 9 Cayuga (1-1).

Timpson rounds out our first 1A poll at No. 10. The Bears are 2-0 after a 27-0 shutout of Cushing.
