LONGVIEW -- Bonnie Forbes and Molly Warren fueled a 2-1 comeback win for Longview on Friday in a district matchup against Rockwall-Heath.

The win pushed Longview (7-3-2) to 3-0 in district, while Rockwall-Heath fell to 2-1.

Rockwall-Heath led 1-0 at halftime thanks to a free kick in the second minute, but Longview fought back in the second half, tying tying the match 1-1 on Forbes' goal with about 19 minutes remaining. Warren provided the game-winner seven minutes later and the Lady Lobos held on from there. Kaitlyn Adams assisted both goals.

Aide Godoy (defender), Lauren Hall (midfielder), and Selma Deluna (forward) all played well for the Lady Lobos. Jakayla Anthony had a solid effort in goal.

Longview visits North Mesquite on Tuesday.

Athens Shuts Out John Tyler

TYLER -- Freshman Makayle Traxson poured in four goals to power Athens to a 6-0 shutout of John Tyler on Friday.

Traxson now has 14 goals on the year. Fellow freshman Kyra Robison added the other two goals to give her eight this season. Senior Gabby Lawyer set the school's career assist record with four assists on the night.

John Tyler Edges Athens

ATHENS -- John Tyler built an early two-goal lead and held on for a 2-1 victory at Athens on Friday night.

John Tyler scored twice in the first 10 minutes of the contest. Athens got a goal from Enrique Rodriguez, his 12th of the season.
