NACOGDOCHES -- West Rusk was too much on the ground yet again for its opponent, recording four rushing touchdowns in a 42-7 win over Corrigan-Camden on Thursday in a Class 3A Division II bi-district matchup.

The Raiders (9-1) move on to the area round to face Buffalo at a time and site to be determined.

West Rusk quarterback LJ Harper ran for two touchdowns and threw for another, totaling 89 yards on six carries on the ground and throwing for 148 yards through the air. His 35-yard touchdown to Dylan Walker gave the Raiders a 21-7 lead in the second quarter.

DJ Hart ran for a 33-yard touchdown and Darrian Johnson returned a fumble 48 yards to paydirt as part of West Rusk's 28-point second half.

Jaylon Garland opened the scoring with a 3-yard touchdown run for West Rusk, which racked up 278 yards on the ground in the win.
