West Rusk Cruises to 45-0 Rout of Arp

NEW LONDON – The West Rusk Raiders opened the 2018 season with a dominating 45-0 shutout of Arp at Bruce Bradshaw Stadium on Friday night.

LJ Harper led West Rusk (1-0) by accounting for four touchdowns, two each rushing and passing. Talon Winings had one of the TD receptions and also intercepted two passes on defense.

Tyrell Moore paced the Raiders on the ground with 97 yards and a touchdown.

West Rusk’s defense also forced three Arp (0-1) turnovers.

Both teams are back in action next Friday night. West Rusk plays at Waskom, while Arp plays host to Hughes Springs.
