WHITE OAK -- The White Oak Roughnecks improved to 3-0 on the season with a 48-0 shutout of rival Spring Hill on Friday night at Roughneck Stadium.

White Oak put up 31 first-half points, and never let Spring Hill (0-3) into a rhythm.

Connor Hearron caught two touchdown passes and ran for another during the first-half onslaught. Cade Palmer tossed a pair of scores, Heath Hood scored on a 1-yard run, and Arthur Nakai drilled a 47-yard field goal as time expired in the first half.

The Roughnecks got two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter -- a Hood 8-yard pass to Austin Iske, and a 4-yard scoring run by Jaylon Jeffery.

Both teams return to action next Friday night. White Oak plays at Tenaha, while Spring Hill travels to Canton.
