AUSTIN -- The White Oak doubles tennis duo of Collin McMullen and Tyler Keel captured the boys Class 2A state championship on Tuesday at the University of Texas' Penick-Allison Tennis Center.

McMullen and Keel coasted past Drew Anderson and Landry Linn of Kountze in the finals, 6-1, 6-2.

The White Oak tandem reached the finals with straight-set victories in both the quarterfinals and semifinals on Monday.

McMullen and Keel defeated East Bernard's Mac Gideon and Caleb Gideon, 6-1, 6-0, in the quarters and Wall's Rhett Jones and Will Adams, 6-4, 6-1, in the semis.
