In a weekend full of excellent offensive performances, White Oak junior quarterback Heath Hood delivered the most productive.

Hood accounted for 563 total yards of offense and six touchdowns in the Roughnecks' 49-38 victory over Tyler Bishop Gorman last Friday night.

And his efforts, Hood is the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Offensive Player of the Week. He follows Week 1 recipient, Gilmer quarterback Aaron "Poppy" Brown.

Hood (5-11, 175) completed 31 of 45 passes for 517 yards and five touchdowns, and added 46 yards and a touchdown on 11 rushing attempts.

The 'Necks signal-caller has now accounted for 11 touchdown in White Oak's first two games of the season -- both wins.

Hood and White Oak (2-0) return to action this Friday night against rival Spring Hill (2-0). Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from Panther Stadium in Longview.
