Whitehouse Breezes Into Second Round With 11-0 Rout of Red Oak in Bi-District

FORNEY -- The Whitehouse LadyCats rolled to an 11-0 win over Red Oak in their Class 4A Region II bi-district, one-game playoff Thursday night.

Whitehouse advanced to the area round where it will meet the winner between McKinney North and Texas High, which won the opening game of their series Thursday.

Morgan Downs homered and had six RBIs to lead Whitehouse. She belted a grand slam in Whitehouse's big six-run second inning.

Maggie Beard got the win in the circle. She struck out six and walked three in five shutout innings.
