Whitehouse + Corsicana Rack Up Superlatives on 16-4A All-District Baseball Team

Whitehouse and Corsicana shared the regular-season District 16-4A baseball championship, and the two shared all of the superlative honors on the all-district team.

Corsicana senior Holden Grounds was voted the district's Most Valuable Player, while Whitehouse seniors Jared Raabe and Michael Nuon earned Offensive and Defensive MVP honors, respectively.

Whitehouse junior Ryan Cheatham was named Pitcher of the Year, Corsicana sophomore Bobby Lopez was Newcomer of the Year and Corsicana's Trevor Nolen was Freshman of the Year.

Coach of the Year honors were shared by Whitehouse's Derrick Jenkins and Corsicana's Heath Autry.
