A few of the top seniors from Whitehouse's history-making 2013 football team will hit the road in the coming weeks to visit colleges.

Linebacker Reggie Long told ETSN.fm that he's set to visit Tarleton State on the weekend of Jan. 24. The 6-foot, 218-pound Long holds Division I FBS offers from Army and Navy, as well as offers from Division II schools such as Tarleton State, Texas A&M-Commerce, and Midwestern State.

Long led Whitehouse, which went 12-1 in 2013, in tackles before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury during the Wildcats' 55-54 regular season-closing home victory against John Tyler.

Receiver Jake Parker, who had a monster senior season catching passes from Texas Tech pledge Patrick Mahomes, will visit SFA this weekend or the weekend of Jan. 31. Parker, who holds an offer from perennial D-I JUCO power Navarro College, would likely receive an offer from the Lumberjacks during his visit.

Parker also plans to visit Texas Tech during the weekend of Jan. 24 and has an invitation to visit Incarnate Word, which competes with SFA in the D-I FCS Southland Conference. He caught 71 passes for 1,629 yards and 14 touchdowns, finishing third in East Texas in receptions and second in yards.

The anchor of Whitehouse's odd front on defense, Kostin Wallace, has three Division II visits coming up in the next few weeks: Tarleton State, Texas A&M-Kingsville, and East Central. The 5-foot-11, 330-pound run-stuffer has also received interest from several D-I FCS schools in recent weeks.

Troup Junior Gets Three Invitations

Troup running back D'Luis West has received three invitations for upcoming junior days, including one from a D-I FBS program.

Houston has invited the 5-foot-8, 200-pound West, who also holds D-I FCS junior day invitations from Georgia State and Princeton. West has also received interest from several other FBS, FCS, and D-II programs.
