Whitehouse and Kaufman both punched tickets to the state 7-on-7 tournament with semifinal wins at the Tyler SQT on Saturday at Lindsey Park.

Whitehouse took a 34-33 win over Lindale, while Kaufman edged Lufkin by the same score in the semifinals.

The Wildcats join three other East Texas teams for the state tournament, which is scheduled for June 28-30 at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex in College Station.
