NACOGDOCHES -- The Whitehouse Wildcats scored 22 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to stun Nacogdoches, 35-31, Friday night at Dragon Stadium to remain unbeaten in District 9-5A Division II.

Flint Herrington's 24-yard touchdown pass to Kendrion Johnson with 1:35 remaining completed the comeback for Whitehouse (5-1, 3-0).

Nacogdoches (2-4, 1-2) built a 31-13 lead early in the fourth on a Tarance Swindle 72-yard touchdown, but Whitehouse closed the game with three consecutive scoring drives.

The Dragons had a chance to win it late, but Jake Smith's 8-yard pass into the end zone fell incomplete as time expired.

Herrington finished the night with 345 yards passing and the three fourth-quarter touchdowns, two of which went Johnson and the other to Texas Tech commit Cameron Cantrell.

Swindle ran for 159 and two touchdowns for Nacogdoches.
