Whitehouse Rips Mount Pleasant, 43-14, in 9-5A Division II Opener

MOUNT PLEASANT -- The Whitehouse Wildcats opened District 9-5A Division II with a 43-14 win over Mount Pleasant on Friday night.

Flint Herrington tossed for four touchdowns, three of which to Kendrion Johnson, and Jaden Haskins ran for 133 yards and two scores in the Whitehouse (3-1, 1-0) win.

Both teams are back in action next Friday night. Whitehouse plays host to Jacksonville, while Mount Pleasant (2-2, 0-1) travels to Pine Tree.
