LINDALE -- The Whitehouse Wildcats capped a 4-0 weekend at the Lindale Hoop Heaven basketball tournament with two wins on Saturday.

Whitehouse (7-0) scored an 88-52 win over North Forney and dominated Tyler Lee by a score of 71-44.

In the win over North Forney, Patrick Mahoems led the way with 22 points. Spencer Shaw added 17 points, while Brady Hill finished with 16.

Tyrell Choice led North Forney with 14 points, and Armani Watts chipped in with 11.

Hill led the Wildcats in their win over Tyler Lee with 21 points. Mahomes had 18 points, while Shaw and Jaylon Dews finished with 12 points apiece.

Demondrick Barker led Lee with nine points, while Jack Calhoun added eight.

Whitehouse returns to action Tuesday at home against South Australia Country Academy. Tyler Lee plays at Nacogdoches on Tuesday.

Longview 55, Pine Tree 35

The Longview Lobos closed out their play at the Hoop Heaven with a 55-35 victory over Pine Tree.

Cadell Williams paced Longview, which went 2-1 over the weekend, with 26 points. Stephon Anthony added eight points.

Caleb Chumley led Pine Tree with 10 points, and Dalvin Manns chiiped in with nine.

Longview is back in action next weekend at the Hardin-Jefferson Tournament, which begins Thursday and runs through Saturday. Pine Tree, meanwhile, plays at Lindale on Tuesday.

Lindale 49, North Forney 34

The Lindale Eagles capped a 3-1 weekend with a 49-34 victory over North Forney in the final game of the tournament.

Jacob Capo led Lindale with 17 points, while Mason Terry added eight.

Watts paced North Forney with 16 points.

Lindale 47, Pine Tree 40

The Lindale Lady Eagles finished 3-1 at the Hoop Heaven tournament with a 47-40 victory over Pine Tree.

Natasha Malone led Lindale with 15 points, while Heather Gilbert chipped in with 13.

Kabreshia Orange had a game-high 17 points to lead Pine Tree. Sky Holmes added 13 points in the losing effort.

Lindale plays host to Emory Rains on Tuesday

Pine Tree 37, West Rusk 31

Pine Tree won earlier in the day with a 37-31 defeat of West Rusk. Holmes led the way with 16 points, while Orange added 13.

West Rusk was sparked by Tierney Reddic's 16 points.

Pine Tree's season resumes with Brownboro's Great East Texas Shootout, which runs from Thursday-Saturday. West Rusk opens District 18-2A play Tuesday at Arp.

Troup 52, Henderson 24

The Troup Lady Tigers finished play at the Hoop Heaven with a 52-24 rout of Henderson.

Josee Ross led Troup with 26 points, while Jordan Boles finished with a team-high eight points for Henderson.

Troup hosts Winona on Tuesday in the DIstrict 18-2A opener, while Henderson hosts Gladewater in 16-3A action.
