JOAQUIN -- Will Vaughn scored three touchdowns and No. 5 Joaquin's running game was too much for Timpson on Friday night, as the Rams stayed unbeaten witha  48-14 win over the Bears.

Joaquin (9-0, 4-0) handed Timpson (8-1, 3-1) its first loss of the season and set the Rams up for a showdown against Harleton next Friday night for the outright District 9-A Division I championship.

The Rams scored touchdowns on five straight possessions to take a 34-14 lead at halftime.

Wyatt Hairgrove also added a touchdown for Joaquin.

Lorenzo Young scored on a 54-yard touchdown and the Bears returned a kickoff for a touchdown for their only scores of the game.
