Blake Lynch + Troup Rally From Early Deficit to Beat Rival Arp, 28-14
TROUP -- Blake Lynch ran for two touchdowns and passed for another to send Troup to a 28-14 win over longtime rival Arp, giving Lynch and Co. their third straight win.
Lynch scored on runs of 15 and 10 yards and put the game out of reach with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Hearon with just under eight minutes left in the game.
Two big plays accounted for Arp's touchdowns -- Marcalas Johnson ran for a 57-yard touchdown and Thomas Reese returned a Lynch interception 50 yards for a touchdown.
Marcus Kincade also had a 63-yard punt return for a touchdown for Troup (3-1), which plays Huntington at 7:30 p.m. Friday at home. Arp (1-3) plays at Garrison at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
