Tyler Bishop Gorman junior wide receiver Judah Bell picked up his third Division I FBS scholarship opportunity when Bowling Green extended an offer his way late Monday afternoon.

Bell (6-3, 180), who announced the news on Twitter, also holds offers from Houston and SMU.

Bowling Green, a MAC program located in southern Kentucky, has increased its presence in Texas in recent weeks. The Falcons hired Mike Jinks, a former Texas high school coach and Texas Tech assistant, as their next head coach in December.

Jinks gained notoriety in the high school ranks as the head coach at Cibolo Steele, where he led the Knights to a state championship in 2010 and finals appearance in 2011. He served as running backs coach at Texas Tech from 2013-15.

The Falcons have also extended an offer to John Tyler 2017 QB/ATH Bryson Smith.

Bowling Green was 10-4 overall in 2015, and 7-1 in conference play, defeating Northern Illinois in the MAC championship game before suffering a loss to Georgia Southern in the GoDaddy Bowl on Dec. 23.

Bell enjoyed great success on the gridiron last season, finishing his junior year with 68 receptions for 1,350 yards and 16 touchdowns in only 11 games, helping Gorman reach the TAPPS Division II playoffs.

Recruits in the 2017 class can make their college decisions official on Feb. 1 of next year.
