Brownsboro head football coach and athletic director Ty Thomison has been placed on administrative leave, according to the Athens Review.

The Review reported that details of Thomison being placed on administrative leave were unavailable, but that George Losack has been named interim athletic director.

Thomison, who is a Brownsboro graduate, led the Bears to a 5-5 record in 2012 after going 1-9 in his first season at the helm in 2011. Brownsboro was 5-2 overall and 2-0 in District 15-3A before losing its final three regular-season games, including a 55-20 loss in the season finale against Athens, to miss the postseason.

The 2010 season is Brownsboro's last playoff appearance. Former coach John Settle led the Bears to a 6-5 record that season.
