A handful of East Texas volleyball teams have reached the final stretch of the regular season as state-ranked teams.

The region is home to 13 state-ranked teams in the latest release of the Texas Girls Coaches Association's polls.

Class 3A has the most local representatives. Alba-Golden checked in at No. 12, White Oak is ranked No. 13, Central Heights is No. 20 and Winona climbed to 24th. Troup and Queen City share a five-way tie for 25th with Friona, East Bernard and Paris Chisum.

East Texas' highest-ranked team is Beckville at the No. 5 spot in the Class 2A poll. Cherry Downs' program has a 27-4 record and is perfect in District 20-2A. Other 2A teams in the poll are No. 12 Gary and No. 22 Colmesneil.

Spring Hill and Van headline the Class 4A poll at the No. 9 and No. 25 spots, respectively. Van is in a six-way tie for the last spot.

Pine Tree checked in at No. 17 in the Class 5A poll. The Lady Pirates are followed closely by No. 19 Hallsville, which has been a staple in the poll through most of the season.
