ETSN.fm Preseason Class 3A Poll: No. 7, White Oak Roughnecks

Without a lot of fanfare, the White Oak Roughnecks have quietly gone about the business of deep playoff runs the last few seasons.

Since 2012, White Oak has posted a 39-12 record, reaching the state semifinals in 2013 and advancing to the regional semifinals last year.

The 'Necks check in at No. 7 in the ETSN.fm Preseason Class 3A Poll.

Third-year head coach Kris Iske has 12 returning starters coming back from last season's 10-3 squad, including a pair of difference-makers on the offensive end.

Heath Hood is Mr. Versatility, having picked up large of chunks of passing, rushing, and receiving yardage in 2015. Running back Connor Hearron returns as well after posting more than 1,000 rushing yards a season ago.

Defensively, White Oak will be led by a trio of standouts -- defensive back Brandon Cook, and linebackers Antonio Castiglione and Chase Reeves.
