In this week's edition of the ETSN.fm podcast, our resident experts Clint Buckley and Mike Graham discuss the much-anticipated beginning of District 16-5A play, which commences this Friday night with a pair of colossal showdowns.

We tackle both Lufkin-Nacogdoches, perhaps the most anticipated matchup of the longtime arch-rivals in several decades, as well as the annual Smith County battle between John Tyler and Whitehouse, which has quickly become one of East Texas' most fierce rivalries.

The show also takes a look at couple of prime non-district clashes this week -- Gladewater at Kilgore and Alto at Tenaha.
