WHITEHOUSE -- The Whitehouse Wildcats finished the first half of District 17-5A unbeaten after their 55-32 win over Jacksonville on Friday night.

Javier Neal led a balanced Whitehouse (20-6, 5-0) scoring effort with 14 points. Kolby Jimmerson and Jackson Mahomes finished with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Brady Robinson paced Jacksonville in the loss with 12 points.

Both teams are back in action Tuesday. Whitehouse faces Ennis at home, while Jacksonville plays host to Nacogdoches.

 

Slocum Handles Trinidad

ELKHART -- The Slocum Mustangs collected their first District 27-A victory of the season Friday night with a 57-17 rout of Trinidad.

The Mustangs (15-12, 1-4) connected on 11 three-pointers on the night, including a combined nine from the duo of Taylor Hunt and Jacob Lane, which finished with 23 and 16 points, respectively.

Slocum resumes its season Tuesday at Oakwood.

Winona Blasts Arp

ARP -- The Winona Ladycats breezed to a 57-29 win over Arp in District 15-3A action Friday night.

Randaysha Hanson sparked the win with a monster performance that featured 23 points, eight rebounds, and 10 steals. Shirmae McMiller added 10 points, five assists, and three steals.

Winona returns to action net Friday at home against Harmony.
