(KNUE-FM) We have so many U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents that are working to keep prohibited items out of Texas and the United States on a daily basis. We assume that most of that includes keep drugs out, but recently agents seized over $7 million dollars in counterfeit electronics chargers, specifically for Apple products.

How Many Apple Chargers Were Seized in Texas?

The Customs and Border Protection Houston Seaport Trade Enforcement Team found a total of 373,000 counterfeit USB phone chargers or 7,460 cartons containing the Apple trademark. There were Apple representatives and border protection agents who confirmed the products are not legitimate Apple products.

Buy directly from the trademark holder or authorized retailers

Know the real value of the product, if it’s being offered for lower it’s probably fake

Buy from legitimate websites with customer service information and return policies for customers
