East Texas Law Enforcement Shuts Down 7 Gambling Operations
(East Texas) We all know by now that breaking the law in Texas is not a good idea, there will be consequences to deal with. And we also know that gambling is not legal in the Lone Star State, and while people will try to break the law without getting in trouble, it’s only a matter of time before law enforcement eventually steps in and takes action.
According to the Marshall, Texas Police Department Facebook page there were illegal gambling operations that were taking place in Harrison County that were recently shut down.
Multiple Gambling Operations Shut Down
The shutdowns took place on May 30, 2025, when a coordinated effort by the Joint Harrison County Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force shut down seven illegal gambling operations. This was the end of an extensive investigation targeting businesses operating illegal gambling devices.
