Tyler Junior College Hosting Free Dental Day for Kids

(KNUE-FM) Here in Texas, it seems like we are always eating something, there are always snacks in the break room or in the kitchen. But it’s also important for Texans of all ages to take care of their teeth. Oral hygiene issues will catch up to you if you don’t brush and floss regularly. 

Why Dental Hygiene Matters for Texas Kids

There’s good news for East Texas parents—Tyler Junior College will offer one day of free preventative dental care for kids. The details were released by CBS 19 and the TJC professor who set up this event discussed how this program not only gives children the chance to get affordable treatment but also allows students to practice their skills.

Event Details: Time, Location, and Eligibility

You’re probably wondering about all the information regarding the event. The event is being called Apache Smiles and will be held on Saturday, November 8th and is open for all kids from 4 to 11 at the clinic at the Rogers Nursing and Health Sciences Center on the TJC central campus. The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

How to Register for Free Dental Care
