New IKEA Pop Up Stores Coming To 5 Texas Best Buy Stores
(KNUE-FM) Life in Texas can be stressful at times, so anything we can do to make life a little more convenient is a good thing. Especially when we don’t have to do the work, as soon more Texans will have access to IKEA products as there will be some new shared retail space within certain Texas Best Buy locations.
How the Integration Benefits Shoppers
The information was released on the IKEA website regarding a new partnership between the two huge brands. This new shared space will make it easier to integrate Best Buy appliances into IKEA kitchens and home laundry areas. This will be the first time that IKEA products and services will be available through another U.S. retailer.

What Is the IKEA Shop‑in‑Shop Concept?
The new collaboration will initially launch in 10 stores; those stores will only be in Florida and Texas. The new set up will be 1,000 square feet showcasing kitchen and laundry room settings. The goal is to find the best high-tech appliances that will work within a beautiful living space.

Expansion Plans: Texas & Florida First
The Best Buy stores in Florida that will be offering this new concept include Boynton Beach, Daytona Beach, Lakeland, Melbourne, and Waterford Lakes.
There will also be two designated locations that will serve as pick-up points for IKEA shoppers (Lakeland, Florida & Alamo Ranch, Texas). This will allow customers to pick up most IKEA products for free at the Best Buy store. This applies to purchases made through IKEA.com.
