Disgusting New Criminal Charges Filed Against Buc-ee’s Founder’s Son

It doesn’t matter who commits a crime like this, whether your family has money or not, this type of horrible crime is the last thing we want in Texas. 

It was back in October of 2023, we first got the details about Mitchell Wasek, the son of Donald Wasek who is one of the co-founders for Buc-ee's, who racked up some serious criminal charges.  

About His Previous Charges 

Some of Mitchell’s friends were visiting their Lake Travis home owned by his father and one of the friends noticed a hidden camera in one of the bathrooms.  

It captured both men and women using the restroom, taking showers, changing clothes, and being intimate in the bathroom.  

The videos dated back to 2021, with videos coming from properties owned by the Wasek family including a condo in Austin and vacation home in Telluride, Colorado.  

Mitchell was the only person who could have placed these recording devices, and he was charged with 21 felony counts of invasive visual recordings.

New Charges Are Horrible 

According to a KXAN article, Mitchell Wasek is now being charged with two counts of production of child pornography, one count of distributing child pornography, and one count for possession of child pornography.  

Some of the videos captured included juvenile females as young as 7-years-old. These images were illegally produced and distributed online.  

Texas Laws Will Hold You Accountable 

While you hate to hear about anything like this happening in Texas. It’s clear that if you do anything to cause harm, especially to children, you will be forced to face the consequences.
