A large portion of people celebrate by spending time with friends and family, often making food and either lighting off fireworks or watching a big community show. But sometimes the fun gets out of hand and especially when alcohol is involved, it’s an easy way for people to do dumb things that get them arrested. Let’s look at some things you should avoid so you don’t spend the 4th of July behind bars.

4th of July Prep to Avoid a Texas Catastrophe
Most of us have a plan on how we want the 4th of July to go, no one is planning to be arrested on the holiday. Which is why it’s important to do a little preparation prior to the celebration.
It’s important to know what rules are in place regarding shooting off fireworks, also any local laws regarding specific fireworks. The 4th of July holiday is extremely busy for police officers, firefighters, and EMS/ health care workers. Please don’t add to the workload for these extremely hard-working individuals.
