
The Texas Company Behind Tom Brady’s Cloned Dog
(KNUE-FM) While I feel safe here in Texas, it is a crazy world we are living in right now. Things that we have always known to be true are now changing. That was evident earlier this week when former NFL Superstar Tom Brady was talking about his dog being a clone. Well, the company behind doing that cloning is from here in the Lone Star State.
As a big fan of animals, I love the idea of cloning pets. I have an older dog now that I would love to have with me for the rest of my life. Although, I know that I don’t have the same bank account as Tom Brady to make that happen. But it’s still exciting to hear about this new pet cloning technology.
Tom Brady’s Dog Junie Was Cloned in Texas
According to KXAN, Tom Brady’s dog Junie is a clone of a previous family dog, Lua, who passed away in 2023.

Meet the Texas Company Behind the Cloning
The company behind doing the pet cloning is Viagen Pet and Equine. The company was recently acquired by Colossal Biosciences, a company that claims to “de-extinct” animals. It’s not exactly shocking to find out that Tom Brady is an investor in the Colossal company.

Celebrities Who’ve Cloned Their Pets
Tom Brady isn’t the first celebrity to have a cloned pet as Barbara Streisand and Paris Hilton have done the same thing.
Viagen is said to have successfully cloned 15 species now. The company uses preserved cells from animals to clone the new one. he pets share the same genetic identity, making them almost like twins.
