A truck driver in Dallas, Texas, apparently was not aware of how much clearance he needed to get under the Commerce Avenue overpass. You can check out the footage by scrolling to the video at the bottom of this article.

Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt. The truck driver was checked out by emergency workers and didn’t have any major injuries. No other cars were involved, which was lucky, considering how crowded Dallas roads can get.

Truck Slams Into Dallas Overpass

So, what caused the crash? That’s still being investigated, but there’s a good chance the truck was too tall for the bridge. Most overpasses have height limits, and there are usually signs warning drivers ahead of time. But sometimes truck drivers miss those signs, or their GPS systems don’t give them the right directions. It’s also possible the truck was carrying something that made it taller than usual.
