Dang, is this how y'all get down in Odessa? Actually, I have been on that very street in the video at the end of this article, and that is indeed how they get down in Odessa, Texas.

A lady in handcuffs appears to have escaped her detainment and attempted to run from the cops with her hands cuffed behind her back. Honestly, it looks like she could have gotten away if she had just put in a little extra effort.  Let's break down the footage.

Handcuffed Woman Tries to Flee from Texas Officers

As the video opens, we see a woman who is obviously handcuffed running from a police SUV. She is running around in circles trying to avoid the cops. She then takes off down the street and appears to have a pretty good lead on her pursuer.

After she turns down another road, we see the cop come up behind her and stop. A female cop jumps out of the SUV, and I'll be honest, I didn't think the cop had any chance of catching this woman based purely on their physical attributes.

But dang, that cop has some speed on her! She catches up to the handcuffed lady in no time and then hits her with the taser, causing the woman to fall to the ground, where she was then apprehended.
