Hewitt Resident Becomes Latest Texas Lottery Millionaire

Ladies and gentlemen, we have yet another lottery winner. The latest Texas Lottery millionaire scored $1 million with a 200X scratch ticket. 

I like to think that I’m a pretty optimistic person. However, I’m anything but optimistic when it comes to playing the lottery. I’m hesitant to spend five bucks on a lottery ticket. But every time I write one of these feel-good stories about a resident winning a life-changing amount of money, I’m tempted to go out and buy a ticket. However, I resist the urge every time.

But if you’re one of those folks who loves the rush that comes from gambling, you just might turn a $20 bill into a million dollars, like the anonymous Hewitt resident did. They purchased the winning ticket at Hewitt United Super, located at 201 N. Hewitt Drive, in Hewitt, according to a press release.

Odds and Remaining Prizes

There are still two $1 million jackpot tickets in the 200X game floating around out there. The odds of getting a winning ticket are pretty good at one in 3.39, which includes break-even prizes. The game will pay out a whopping $96.1 million in total prizes.
