Beaumont Resident Becomes Latest Texas Millionaire With Lucky Scratch-Off
The Texas Lottery has produced yet another millionaire. Here lately, they’ve been handing out millions like drunken sailors throwing out singles at a gentleman’s club (not that I know anything about that – okay, maybe I do. What can I say? I was a wild one when I was a younger lad).
I remember feeling ecstatic after winning $40 on a scratch-off shortly after the Texas Lottery was launched back in the early 90s. I think I spent maybe one or two dollars on that ticket. However, I have since given every penny of that $40 back to the lottery and then some, which is why I don’t play much anymore.

So, I can’t even begin to fathom the thrill of winning a million bucks on a scratch-off. Hell, with my luck, I’d have a heart attack on the spot. But hey, at least the medical bills would be covered (I would hope that would cover it, anyway).
Anyway, enough of my speculation. The latest Texas millionaire is a Beaumont resident who scored the jackpot on a 200X scratch-off that was purchased at Fuzzy’s, located at 4115 E. Lucas Drive, in Beaumont, according to a press release. As is usually the case, the winner elected to remain anonymous.
One $1 Million Prize Still Unclaimed
There is still one more $1 million jackpot ticket in the game in circulation. If you’re willing to drop a $20 bill on a scratch-off, it just might be yours.
