
The Most Dangerous Highway in Texas Might Be One You Drive Every Day
A recent study to determine the most dangerous highways in the United States found a stretch of highway in North Texas was among the most treacherous. And if you live in this part of the country, you've most likely driven on it.
I love a good road trip as much as the next person, but I despise heavy traffic. I will avoid roads that are notorious for having heavy traffic at all costs. I would much rather take my time and enjoy the ride on the back roads.

The Rise of Distracted Driving
And while I’ve always experienced high anxiety while in heavy traffic, it’s worse than ever before in this day and age. I don’t know about you, but I see someone distracted by their phone while behind the wheel every day. In fact, I typically see it multiple times a day. Nothing grinds my gears quite like distracted driving.
So yeah, the roads are more dangerous than ever before. Of course, this means we all need to exercise more caution these days, no matter where we’re driving, but none more so than the stretch of I-30 that runs through Dallas, the most dangerous highway in Texas, according to Study Finds.
There has been a total of 39 fatal car crashes on that stretch of highway over the last three years, making it the most dangerous highway in the Lone Star State and the 11th most dangerous highway in the entire nation.
