
Should Texas Bring Back the Old License Plates?
Do you think the current Texas license plate is too boring? A lot of people on social media do.
Here’s the thing—I'm a total minimalist, so I actually like the current white plate with black lettering. Not to mention, that was the license plate when I was a little kid. But I will admit that I prefer black with white lettering.

Now, if they were going to make a change to the general-issue plate, the one from the late 80s and early 90s would be cool:
I figure at some point the DMV will make a change to the general-issue plate as they tend to do that about every 10 years or so. We’ll see which direction they decide to go when they do it. In the meantime, Texas offers a ton of cool personal plates but be ready to pony up because they’re not cheap. Take a look at them here.
