Billy Goat Goes Wild, Busts Through Church Doors in Texas

(Mix 93-1)  Animals are funny. They are also a menace that can cause quite a bit of damage.

I'm sure you've seen the videos on TikTok or America's Funniest Videos of deer walking by a set of automatic doors at a store and activating them to open and just walking on in. When they try to flee and exit, they can't get traction and end up sprawled out on the floor or, even worse, getting traction and causing a lot of damage.

Now I'm pretty sure too, you've seen the videos of cats walking by a mirror and then raring up and hissing at their own reflection as it gets ready for battle.

These videos definitely entertain us and make us laugh out loud, unless it is our property that is being damaged.

First Baptist Church Mixon Targeted by Headbutting Goat

Someone's billy goat was wandering by the glass church doors of First Baptist Church Mixon, and he discovered his reflection staring right back at him in the glass door.

Just like a cat, when the goat saw his reflection, he began asserting his dominance over his reflection and charged the glass doors, where he eventually busted through both of them.

Lowery Davis, church administrator, tells CBS 19,

"I guess he was just having a baaaad day."

How Much Damage Did the Goat Cause?

Well, now the church is having a 'baaaad day' because they are going to have to pay around $1600 to fix the damage to the front doors that was caused by the rogue billy goat.

Where the Goat Went After the Break-In

Upon entry, the goat made his way into the sanctuary, wandered through some pews, and up onto the stage. It was going to take some creative goat wrangling to get him out of the building. But before that could happen, the goat slipped away and ran through the broken doors and off into the woods.

This is something the congregation will be talking about on Sunday in Sunday school. Now, if this incident happened to be caught on video by the security system, someone should submit it to AFV because it could win them $20,000! That will cover the cost of the replacement doors and windows.
