Texans are always searching for new adventures, ways of having fun, and new experiences.

Texas is home to world-class theme parks like Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Sea World in San Antonio, and Kemah Boardwalk in Houston. These parks offer thrilling roller coasters, rides, and shows, and we can't forget about the water parks attached to or near these theme parks or the big ones in New Braunfels and Galveston.

Texas is home to stunning views while zip lining through the piney woods of East Texas or over the cliffs near Lake Travis in Austin. Then there are indoor skydiving opportunities throughout Texas.

There are so many ways to have fun with the family in Texas. However, we're always looking for new things to satisfy our curiosity and thrills.

One of the coolest places I've run across online here lately and never heard of is:

Dig World in Houston

Now, I've seen a similar place in Van Zandt County along I-20 that will teach you how to operate the big machines, but it's more of a school. Dig World is a place for those who have a curiosity and desire to play with bigger machines, diggers, boom lifts, UTV vehicles and more.

This is a unique experience for the entire family that lets you get behind the wheels and controls of big machines like:

  • Mini-Excavators
  • Skid Steers
  • UTVs
  • Boom lifts

This unique park has created a special environment for you and the kids to explore some of the big equipment with activities and games that are truly one-of-a-kind, like:

  • mini-excavator free diggers
  • Large-size block pick-up
  • pond fishing objects out of the pond
  • cone pickup
  • Exa-Putter
  • rubber ducky pick-up

There are many other activities available for families to take part in and bond over.

Shark Tank investor Robert Herjavec believes in Dig World

On the March 14th episode of Shark Tank, Dig World entrepreneur Jacob Robinson made a deal with Herjavec for a $200,000 investment and a 10% stake in Dig World so that this concept could be franchised.

Dig World is now looking to expand the concept to Dallas, according to KHOU 11, with hopes of expanding into other markets around the state and the US too.

This looks like this is an adventure for any active family.
