Texas Students Expelled After Mocking Charlie Kirk’s Death
The death of Charlie Kirk has definitely brought out people from all walks of life here in Texas. We've seen a lot of people come together, no matter what side of the fence they're on politically.
We've also seen quite a few people come out and either celebrate his death or create havoc in some form. The worst part? Several Texas university students are causing the issues, and now it’s costing them.
Texas Tech Student Arrested, Expelled
On Friday, September 12, an 18-year-old student at Texas Tech attended a vigil that was being held for Kirk. While the majority of the crowd there was gathered to celebrate him and pay their respects, this student had another idea in mind.
Student At Texas State University Re-enacts Kirk Shooting
Down south in San Marcos at a memorial event being held on the Texas State University campus, things took an ugly turn when a student decided to re-enact the shooting not once, but twice. In the video, you can see the student in the crowd shouting things, then he begins mimicking the moment Kirk was shot. Not getting the attention he wanted, he decided to walk up to a statue in front of everyone and repeat his actions.
The video of the student was seen by Gov. Abbott, who called for the student to be expelled from school, which he ultimately was.
