Texas Police are saying they believe a 25-year-old man who used his 3-month-old baby to clear snow off of his car's windshield during last week's historic snowfall across the South is likely facing charges of child endangerment.

Texas Man Uses Baby To Clear Snow From Windshield

A video has gone viral showing a Port Arthur, Texas man using what appears to be a 3-month-old baby to clear snow off of his car's windshield last week during the snowstorm.

Police in Texas are now saying the 25-year-old seen in the video could be facing charges and are currently trying to obtain an arrest warrant for child endangerment.

Videos of parents using their kids to wipe snow off of windshields isn't anything new, and normally involve kids much older than 3-moths-old.

However, this video is something different and has sparked outrage amongst the on-line community.

"After observing the video online, Port Arthur Police Department and Child Protective Services started investigating, Beaumont ABC and NBC affiliate KBMT reported.

Police told the station they are trying to obtain an arrest warrant for child endangerment and the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office could issue a warrant for the man’s arrest as soon as this week."

Texas authorities say they believe the man was trying to get TikTok views.

12newsnow.com reports that police were tipped off about the video the same day it was posted and performed a welfare check on the baby.

Police say the baby was "just fine".

Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso an arrest warrant could be issued as soon as this week.
