Kansas Offers Bishop Gorman’s Judah Bell

It's been quite a week for Tyler Bishop Gorman junior receiver Judah Bell, who picked up his third Division I FBS offer in the last three days.

Bell (6-3, 180) earned an offer Kansas -- his first Big 12 invitation -- on Saturday, bringing his total number of offers to seven.

The Crusaders' standout tweeted news of the Kansas offer.

Bell earned two offers Thursday from Navy and UTSA. In addition to the three offers he's picked up this week, the talented prospect also holds standing scholarship opportunities from Bowling Green, Houston, SMU, and Louisiana-Lafayette.

Kansas has been fairly active in East Texas during the 2017 cycle. The Jayhawks have offered four area players -- Bell, Henderson WR and SMU commit Trestan Ebner, Hooks WR/DB Montrell Estell, and John Tyler WR and Texas pledge Damion Miller.

The Jayhawks are coached by David Beaty, who will be entering his second season at Kansas. In 2015, Kansas was 0-12 overall in a rebuilding year.

Bell had a stellar junior season for Gorman, finishing with 68 catches for 1,350 yards and 16 touchdowns in 10 games. The Crusaders were 8-2 and reached the bi-district round of the TAPPS Division II playoffs.

Like all recruits entering their senior season, Bell can officially sign with the school of his choosing on Feb. 1, 2017.
