The Van Vandals have been playing at a high level all season long, winning the first eight games on their schedule, and reaching the Associated Press' Class 4A top 10 poll.

Van's perfect regular season and hopes of a District 8-4A Division I championship will be on the line when the Vandals host Kaufman on Friday night in the ETSN.fm/Dairy Queen Game of the Week.

The Vandals (8-0, 4-0), coming off their bye week, face a Kaufman (7-2, 5-0) team that has won six consecutive games following a 28-14 Week 3 loss to Dallas Bishop Lynch.

On the season, Van has outscored its opposition 375-110.

The Vandals and Lions share six common opponents, and Van has outscored those foes by combined score of 281-61, while Kaufman has outscored them, 260-156.

Be sure to check out the Kaufman-Van game preview Wednesday morning on ETSN.fm, follow our own Clint Buckley (@ClintBuckley) for updates throughout the game, and head back to ETSN.fm late Friday night or early Saturday morning for complete game coverage.
