Lufkin Junior Standout KeKe Coutee Decommits from Texas

One of East Texas' four juniors with a college commitment opted to open up his recruitment Monday.

Lufkin 2015 athlete KeKe Coutee decommitted from Texas, according to 247Sports.com.

Coutee holds offers from the Longhorns, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech. He's been recruited on both sides of the ball thanks to his athleticism and versatility, which could land him in the slot on offense or at cornerback on defense.

He caught 59 passes for 869 yards and eight touchdowns as Lufkin's top pass-catcher in 2013, when the Panthers finished 5-6 with a Class 5A Division II first-round playoff appearance.

Coutee is 1 of 3 Lufkin juniors with at least one offer. Receiver Terry Mark and offensive lineman Erik McCoy each hold an offer from Houston.
