CRANDALL -- The Athens Hornets scored early and often to secure a playoff spot Friday night with a dominating 62-22 win over Crandall.

LINDALE -- The No. 7-ranked Ennis Lions rolled to their sixth straight District 16-5A win Friday night in Eagle Stadium, a 54-13 demolition of the outmanned Lindale Eagles.

GREENVILLE — Jaylen Rhone intercepted a fourth-down attempt and returned it 95 yards to help Texas High survive a scare from Greenville, 28-13, at Cotton Ford Stadium Friday.

JACKSONVILLE -- Jeremy Wilson ran for 129 yards and three touchdowns and the 10th-ranked John Tyler Lions scored twice on defense en route to a 62-7 rout of the Jacksonville Indians Friday at the Tomato Bowl.
