2015 Boys Basketball Playoffs

LINDALE -- Davis Moore went off for 30 points and No. 2 Martin's Mill got out of the Class 2A Region II area round of the playoffs with a 74-33 win against Big Sandy on Thursday.

The following are Wednesday's boys basketball bi-district playoff results involving East Texas teams.

LONGVIEW -- Inclement weather delayed the Class 5A bi-district playoff between John Tyler and Marshall a day. But most anticipated Mother Nature was prolonging the inevitable. Marshall entered Wednesday night's postseason opener with only one loss on the year, riding a 20-game winning streak and coming off a dominant 14-0 performance in District 15-5A. John Tyler, meanwhile, finished .500 in 16-5A

LONGVIEW -- The Frankston Indians rolled to a 62-44 win over Jefferson in a Class 3A bi-district playoff game Tuesday night at the Pirate Center.

TYLER -- Longview called its final timeout with 16.4 seconds remaining in Tuesday's wild Class 5A bi-district playoff game against Lindale at Tyler Junior College's Wagstaff Gymnasium. Down 63-62 to the Eagles and inbounding at mid court, the Lobos talked over a plan that could save their season. But whatever was discussed in the huddle never materialized on the floor.
