BULLARD -- Christopher Wilhelmi passed for 254 yards and three touchdowns and added 111 rushing yards, leading Tyler Grace to a 31-21 win over Bullard Brook Hill on Friday night at Herrington Stadium.

PARIS -- Tray Walker rushed for a season-high 308 yards and two touchdowns, leading Pittsburg to a 49-28 win over Paris North Lamar on Friday night in the District 7-4A Division I opener for both teams.

NEVADA -- Canton kicked off competition in the tough District 5-4A Division II league with a 42-14 win against Nevada Community. It was a career night for quarterback Hunter Moore and Canton (3-3, 1-0) joined Gilmer and Bullard in the win column. Running back Jordan Jackson didn't have a bad night, either.

HENDERSON -- Jarod Blissett kept finding an open Jakeldric Jackson, and Jackson kept making plays. The duo connected nine times on the night to lead the way for the Carthage Bulldogs, as they avenged last season's defeat to the Henderson Lions with a 35-15 win in the District 9-4A Division I opener Friday night at Lion Stadium.
