TYLER -- Lufkin's Saturday had already been pretty sour before a disastrous fifth inning in a must-win Game 3 versus Marshall. The Panthers blew a two-run lead in the bottom of the seventh of the Class 5A bi-district playoff series' second game at Mike Carter Field and ultimately lost in 10 innings earlier in the day. Now, they were down 5-4 following a three-run bottom of the fifth.
