NEW CHAPEL HILL -- Kason Davis threw a touchdown and Keaontay Ingram ran for two more to give Carthage a 25-17 win over Chapel Hill to close out the regular season on Friday night.

GILMER -- Another year, another district title for the Gilmer Buckeyes.

LINDALE -- Tanner Roach came off the bench to throw two second-half touchdowns that propelled Whitehouse past the Lindale, 28-17 Friday in the regular-season finale at Eagle Stadium and put Whitehouse back in the playoffs for the first time since 2013.

TEXARKANA -- Cade Pearson threw three touchdowns and receiver Quan Hampton had another big night to help No. 8 Texas High beat Pine Tree, 38-3, giving the Tigers their fifth unbeaten regular season in school history.

ATHENS — The Athens Hornets continued the streak of victories over the Brownsboro Bears with a 32-13 win at Bruce Field on Friday night.
