Two of the best teams in the state at the Class 3A level face off against one another Friday night with a district championship likely hanging in the balance.

Seventh-ranked Malakoff (7-0, 2-0) hosts No. 6 Teague (7-0, 2-0) in a battle of unbeatens atop the District 11-3A Division I standings. It's the ETSN.fm/Dairy Queen Game of the Week.

Malakoff is led by the duo of quarterback Stephan Wolfe and running back Marcus Dowell, who have made the Tigers one of East Texas' most explosive offenses.

Meanwhile, Teague's juggernaut is ignited by quarterback Austin Skinner, who has thrown for 2,135 yards with 30 touchdowns and only three interceptions.
