DIBOLL -- The Carthage Lady Dawgs earned a 25-21, 25-12, 25-23 win over Diboll on Tuesday evening.

Alli Capps led Carthage (23-6) with 13 kills and eight digs. Matti Doffitt added 12 kills and four blocks, while Kaitlyn Nutt provided 14 digs.

Carthage opens District 16-4A play Friday at Tatum.

 

Henderson Sweeps Past Gary

HENDERSON -- The Henderson Lady Lions took a sweep over Gary on Tuesday in non-district action.

Gary was led in defeat by Kristina Bell, who finished with nine kills, one block, and seven digs.

Leann Youngblood added seven kills, 13 digs, and four aces, while Taylor Rodgers had 16 assists and a block.

 

Beckville Remains Unbeaten in District

WASKOM -- The Beckville Ladycats earned a 25-14, 25-10, 25-5 sweep of Waskom in District 16-3A action Tuesday.

Beckville (22-4, 3-0) was led by Kinley Blair, who had 13 kills, two blocks, six digs, and an ace. Riley Seegers added 11 kills and eight digs, Payton Jones finished with five kills, 17 digs, and three aces, while Kinley Pepper racked up 34 assists to go along with two kills, seven digs, and a pair of aces.

The season resumes for Beckville on Friday at home against New Diana.

 

Quitman Rolls Past Kemp

QUITMAN -- The Quitman Bulldogs rolled to a 25-12, 25-16, 25-13 sweep of Kemp on Tuesday in District 12-3A action.

Kaci Raley led the way for Quitman (20-7, 4-0) with 21 kills, one block, 10 digs, and three aces. Molly Tanner added seven kills, 18 digs, and four aces, Cammie Hicks had 29 assists, a kill, four digs, and one ace, while Brittany Walls chipped in with 16 digs.

Quitman's season continues Friday at Eustace.

 

Carlisle Overpowers Shelbyville

PRICE -- The Carlisle Lady Indians dominated Shelbyville with a 25-4, 25-7, 25-11 sweep Tuesday in District 20-2A competition.

Hayley Jordan led Carlisle (18-12, 3-1) with 10 kills. Cheyenne Vannier added 22 assists and a pair of aces, while Keylee Adair finished with eight digs and two aces.

Carlisle returns to action Friday at home against Overton.
